Mino Washi Tabi Socks ORINOTABI
Bringing the wisdom of Mino washi paper, which spans over 1300 years, to your feet in the modern age.
Mino Washi, a traditional craft proudly produced in Gifu Prefecture, is one of Japan's three major types of washi paper, registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2014. It possesses six times the moisture absorption capacity of cotton, a coolness similar to linen, and excellent moisture retention and release properties, and has been an integral part of daily life since ancient times.
"ORINO TABI" is a type of tabi sock made using washi yarn, which is created by twisting Mino washi paper with cotton.
Experience the comfort of a toe-hugging fit, along with the lightness, breathability, and volume unique to washi paper.
Stay cool and comfortable even in the sweaty season.
It suppresses odor and stuffiness, and its antibacterial and deodorizing effects allow you to enjoy your bare feet more freely.
These shoes will give you confidence even in situations where you suddenly need to take your shoes off.
