Higo Inlay Black Dangle Necklace

This necklace is inspired by the design of the "nakagobitsu," the tang compartment that holds the blade of a Japanese sword, and elevates it into a beautiful piece. Using Higo inlay, a Japanese sword fitting technique with a history of over 400 years, the deep black of soft iron, which produces a black color from brown, and the pure gold arabesque pattern resonate quietly together.

Its presence embodies a quiet aesthetic of "acceptance" and "listening," reminiscent of the spirit of wabi-sabi. This necklace reinterprets the spirit of the samurai and the Japanese aesthetic of black as a modern piece of jewelry.
